The Purchase Manager is responsible for planning, sourcing, and procuring materials, equipment, spare parts, and services required for marine operations. The role involves vendor management, price negotiation, purchase order processing, inventory coordination, and ensuring timely delivery of quality products while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with company policies. The Purchase Manager works closely with operations, technical, logistics, and finance teams to support vessel maintenance, offshore projects, and day-to-day business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities.
- Source and evaluate suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and procurement schedules.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Maintain procurement records and vendor databases.
- Control procurement costs and support budget planning.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field with relevant procurement experience, preferably in Marine, Shipping, Offshore, or Manufacturing industries.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
