Core Duties & Responsibilities:-
- Vehicle Inspection: Perform pre-trip and post-trip checks on brakes, tires, lights, and fluids to ensure the bus is safe and mechanically sound.
- Safe Navigation: Drive the bus over a scheduled route or to specialized destinations while strictly adhering to traffic laws, speed limits, and passenger safety protocols.
- Passenger Assistance: Assist elderly passengers, children, and individuals with disabilities in boarding and disembarking, including operating wheelchair lifts and securing mobility aids.
- Customer Service: Announce stops, manage passenger inquiries regarding schedules or routes, and help with stowing luggage.
- Incident Management: Handle disruptive behavior, enforce transit rules, and respond to on-road emergencies or medical situations by contacting dispatch and emergency services.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Licensing: A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or regional heavy vehicle license is typically required,
- Clean Driving Record: A safe driving history with minimal to zero points on your license.
- Medical Fitness: Often requires passing regular medical exams, vision tests, and drug/alcohol screenings.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
