Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic General Manager – Sales to lead and oversee the overall sales operations for our passenger car business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing dealership and showroom performance, leading high-performing sales teams, developing sales strategies, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction while achieving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual and quarterly sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Lead and manage regional, showroom, retail, corporate, and fleet sales teams.
- Set sales targets, monitor team performance, and drive achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs.
- Expand market presence by identifying new business opportunities, dealership expansion, and strategic partnerships.
- Oversee retail, corporate, fleet, and institutional sales operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, financial institutions, and business partners.
- Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to formulate growth strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to plan promotional campaigns, product launches, and lead generation initiatives.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure vehicle availability.
- Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction throughout the sales journey.
- Oversee budgeting, sales forecasting, pricing strategies, and profitability.
- Review sales reports, MIS, and dashboards to identify improvement opportunities.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop sales managers and executives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and OEM standards.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and business forums.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management is preferred.
- 10–15 years of experience in automobile sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Experience working with passenger car dealerships or OEMs is highly preferred.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
