We are looking for an experienced and responsible Department Manager to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure smooth functioning of the department. The candidate should be capable of driving sales, maintaining discipline, and improving overall performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the department
- Supervise, train, and guide staff members
- Ensure sales targets are achieved and exceeded
- Maintain stock levels and coordinate with inventory team
- Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally
- Monitor staff attendance, performance, and discipline
- Maintain proper display and merchandising standards
- Prepare reports (sales, stock, staff performance)
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Preferred Skills
- Experience in retail store operations
- Sales and customer handling expertise
- Inventory management knowledge
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in retail or department management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
