Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator with hands-on knowledge of machines used in the manufacturing of sticker sheets and self-adhesive labels. The candidate should be capable of operating and handling label stock, silicon coating, gumming, and printing-related machines while maintaining production quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor Label Stock Manufacturing Machines.
- Handle Silicon Coating Machines for release liner/label stock production.
- Operate Gumming Machines and perform manual gumming operations as required.
- Operate Hand Printing Machines used for sticker and label production.
- Set up machines, adjust settings, and monitor production parameters.
- Ensure proper coating, adhesive application, printing, and finishing of sticker sheets.
- Conduct basic quality checks for adhesion, coating, printing, alignment, and sheet quality.
- Identify machine abnormalities and report technical issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain proper production records and ensure minimum material wastage.
- Follow production schedules, safety procedures, and workplace standards.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of machines.
- Ensure the finished product meets the required specifications before dispatch to the next production stage.
Required Skills
- Practical experience in sticker, label, self-adhesive sheet, or printing-related manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with silicon coating, gumming, label stock, or printing machines.
- Good understanding of production processes and machine handling.
- Ability to identify quality defects and rectify basic operational issues.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under production targets.
- Knowledge of basic machine maintenance and safety practices.
Preferred Experience
1–3 years of relevant experience in label, sticker, printing, adhesive, or packaging manufacturing will be preferred.
Ideal Candidate
A technically hands-on and disciplined operator who understands the complete process of producing sticker sheets/self-adhesive labels, from label stock preparation and silicon coating to gumming and printing.
