Role Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Admission Counsellor to join our team. As a Admission Counsellor, you will play a key role in guiding prospective students through the admission process, ensuring they have the information and support needed to make informed decisions. You will work closely with a team of counsellors, leading efforts to meet recruitment goals, provide exceptional service, and contribute to the strategic direction of the admissions department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of admission counsellors to meet recruitment targets and performance goals.
- Provide expert guidance and counselling to prospective students and their families regarding admission requirements, programs, scholarships, and financial aid.
- Evaluate and review applications, ensuring adherence to institutional policies and standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to attract a diverse pool of applicants.
- Represent the institution at high school visits, college fairs, and other recruitment events.
- Assist in developing and implementing recruitment strategies, outreach initiatives, and marketing materials.
- Conduct interviews and assessments to determine student eligibility and suitability for various programs.
- Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and external partners, responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all admissions activities using the institution's CRM or student information system.
- Collaborate with other departments such as financial aid, academic advising, and student services to ensure a smooth transition for admitted students.
- Analyse trends in admissions data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to senior leadership.
- Stay informed of industry trends, admissions best practices, and changes in educational policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an admissions or recruitment role, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Strong understanding of the college admissions process and higher education landscape.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategies to achieve enrolment goals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other admissions-related technology.
- Passion for working with students and helping them succeed in their educational journey.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
