Hiring: Store Assistant – Hardware (North Goa)

We are a leading custom furniture manufacturing company looking for a proactive and organized Store Assistant – Hardware to join our team.
We are currently setting up our store and require a candidate with hands-on experience in store setup, inventory organization, and stock management systems. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently organizing the store layout, establishing inventory control procedures, and implementing an efficient stock management system.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain stock inventory in the ERP system
Ensure accurate stock entries, receipts, issues, and reconciliation
Monitor hardware, consumables, and raw material stock levels
Coordinate with the Production Team for timely material availability
Work closely with the Purchase Manager for procurement planning and stock replenishment
Maintain inward and outward material records
Conduct regular stock verification and inventory audits
Prepare stock and inventory reports
Ensure proper storage and inventory control procedures
Set up and organize the store for efficient material handling and retrieval
Develop and maintain systematic stock storage and identification methods
Requirements:
Experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or hardware stores
Experience in setting up and organizing stores independently
Knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to implement and maintain inventory control systems
Experience in the manufacturing or furniture industry will be an advantage
Valid 2-wheeler license & own vehicle required
