Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CPC-certified Medical Coder with good knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding to support our current projects. Freshers and candidates with up to 6 months of experience in ICD-10-CM coding can apply. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality, accurate, and compliant coding across a variety of medical records. This is an on-site role that requires a proactive professional ready to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately assign ICD-10-CM codes based on medical records and clinical documentation.
- Review medical documentation to identify appropriate diagnoses and coding information.
- Ensure coding is compliant with current ICD-10-CM Official Coding Guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of coding accuracy, quality, and documentation integrity.
- Identify and resolve coding discrepancies as required.
- Collaborate with internal audit and quality teams to ensure coding accuracy and compliance.
- Stay updated with changes in ICD-10-CM coding guidelines and industry standards.
- Meet defined quality and productivity standards.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling patient and healthcare information.
- Support continuous improvement by providing feedback on documentation and coding practices.
Requirements:
- CPC certification (AAPC) is mandatory.
- Freshers can apply.
- Candidates with up to 6 months of ICD-10-CM coding experience can also apply.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding guidelines and concepts.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and healthcare documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to coding quality and compliance.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in coding guidelines and processes.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
