ABOUT THE ROLE
Glooin is a Chrome extension for screen recording and screenshot sharing — built for teams who are tired of writing essays to explain a bug, re-recording the same demo, or jumping on a call that should have been a 30-second clip. We're a small founding team, profitable, and growing across the US and UK on the back of a one-time payment model that users genuinely love. We're looking for a Performance Marketer who's done this before — not in a support role, but as the person who owned the account, made the calls, and lived with the results. You'll own paid acquisition end-to-end across Google, Meta, Reddit, and Twitter/X. You'll set strategy, run creative tests, manage budget, and report on what matters: CAC, ROAS, and trial signups — not impressions.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
1. Google Ads — Search, Display, PMax & YouTube
Full campaign ownership from keyword research and ad copy to bid strategy, audience signals, and landing page alignment. You'll be expected to build, test, and iterate — not just monitor and report.
2. Meta Ads — Awareness to Conversion
End-to-end campaign management across the funnel. Audience strategy, creative testing across static, video, and UGC formats, and retargeting flows that actually convert.
3. Twitter/X & Reddit
Targeted campaigns for tech and productivity audiences — the communities where Glooin's use cases live. You'll figure out what works here, because most marketers haven't.
4. Paid Strategy & Budget Ownership
Channel mix decisions, budget allocation across platforms, and a month-on-month growth roadmap. You'll recommend where to spend and justify it with data.
5. Performance Reporting
Weekly and monthly reporting on the metrics that matter: CAC, ROAS, CPL, trial signups, and conversion rates. No vanity dashboards — just what's working and what to do about what isn't.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Hands-on paid marketing experience (1–3 years)
- You ran the campaigns yourself — not just supervised them. Agency or startup background both work, as long as you were the one making decisions. Proven SaaS track record in international markets
- You've marketed a SaaS product to US, UK, or other English-speaking audiences and understand the nuances of positioning and pricing in those markets.
- Strong command of Google Ads Manager and Meta Ads Manager
- You can navigate both platforms confidently — from campaign structure to conversion tracking and troubleshooting.
- Data-first decision-making
- Every strategy change, budget shift, and creative decision is backed by numbers. You're comfortable pulling your own data and drawing conclusions from it.
- Independent and outcome-oriented
- You define success by what ships and what converts, not by how many hours you put in or how many decks you made.
NICE TO HAVE
■ Prior experience marketing a Chrome extension or browser-based tool
■ Hands-on experience with Reddit Ads or Twitter/X Ads
■ Working knowledge of GTM and GA4 for conversion tracking
■ Comfort with A/B testing frameworks and creative iteration cycles
YOU'RE THE RIGHT FIT IF
- You get frustrated by campaigns that aren't converting — and fix them fast.
- You don't wait for direction or a post-mortem meeting. You dig in, form a hypothesis, and test it.
- You've driven down CAC while scaling spend.
- Not just optimised at a fixed budget, but found efficiency as the account grew — that's the skill we need.
- You're honest about what's working and what isn't.
- We don't want someone who reports green on everything. We want someone who surfaces problems early and brings solutions.
- Early-stage environments energise you.
- You've worked at a startup where the roadmap was half-formed and the team was small — and you thrived, not just survived.
