Position Overview
As a Junior Lab Technician, you'll play an essential role in supporting daily laboratory operations. From processing patient samples to operating diagnostic equipment, you'll help ensure every test is completed with accuracy, efficiency, and in line with established quality standards.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Process patient specimens received from collection centers and home collections.
- Prepare samples for testing through centrifugation, aliquoting, labeling, and sorting.
- Perform routine testing in Biochemistry, Clinical Pathology, and Hematology under defined laboratory procedures.
- Operate automated analyzers and report any equipment abnormalities to senior team members.
- Carry out daily quality checks before releasing samples for testing.
- Enter and verify laboratory data in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations while following laboratory safety and infection control practices.
- Assist senior technicians during troubleshooting, instrument maintenance, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all laboratory documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Work collaboratively with laboratory, operations, and quality teams to maintain smooth workflow.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Holds a DMLT, BMLT, or B.Sc. MLT qualification.
- Has 0–2 years of experience in a diagnostic or clinical laboratory (freshers with internship experience are welcome).
- Understands basic laboratory practices, specimen handling, and quality procedures.
- Is comfortable working with automated laboratory equipment.
- Has strong attention to detail and follows processes carefully.
- Enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Is open to working rotational shifts as per business requirements.
