Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Manager/Engineer to lead sourcing and vendor management for rotogravure cylinders, packaging materials, and related supplies. The role demands strong negotiation skills, technical knowledge, and advanced data handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor sourcing: Identify and manage suppliers (domestic & international, especially China).
- Negotiation: Drive cost savings and favorable terms.
- Data management: Maintain procurement records, analyze data, and prepare MIS reports.
- Compliance: Adhere to GST, import/export regulations, and company policies.
- Coordination: Collaborate with production, finance, and quality teams.
- Reporting: Prepare weekly/monthly procurement status reports.
Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering required.
- 5+ years of procurement/supply chain experience.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards).
- Experience in sourcing from China preferred.
