A leading façade company in Kochi requires a Facade Estimator with minimum 2 years of experience in the façade industry.
Duties & Responsibilities;
- Review architectural, structural, and tender drawings related to façade and cladding works.
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs for aluminium, glass, ACP, steel, sealant, and other façade materials.
- Study project specifications, BOQ, and contract documents before estimation.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and commercial proposals.
- Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams for technical clarifications.
- Analyze labour, material, machinery, and overhead costs for tender submissions.
- Prepare rate analysis and compare supplier quotations.
- Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings when required.
- Identify project risks, variations, and scope gaps during tender stage.
- Maintain estimation records, costing databases, and tender documentation.
- Support management in finalizing project pricing and negotiation strategies.
- Ensure quotations are submitted within deadlines and according to company standards.
- Assist in preparing variation claims and additional work costing during project execution.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and vendors for estimation-related matters.
- Monitor market price fluctuations of façade materials and update costing accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and project requirements.
