Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and monitor hotel computer systems, networks, and IT equipment.
- Provide technical support to hotel staff for hardware, software, printers, and internet-related issues.
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and system access permissions.
- Ensure smooth functioning of the Property Management System (PMS), POS systems, and other hotel applications.
- Perform daily system backups and ensure data security.
- Coordinate with software vendors and IT service providers for troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Install, configure, and update software and hardware as required.
- Monitor server performance, network connectivity, and cybersecurity measures.
- Maintain IT inventory, including computers, printers, networking devices, and accessories.
- Assist departments in generating reports and resolving system-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with hotel IT policies and data protection standards.
- Support the setup and maintenance of Wi-Fi services for guests and staff.
- Document IT issues, maintenance activities, and system changes.
- Provide basic training to employees on hotel software and IT systems.
- Assist the EDP Manager or IT Manager in implementing new technologies and projects.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of hotel PMS (IDS, Opera, eZee, etc.)
- Basic networking and troubleshooting skills
- Hardware and software maintenance
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts and respond to IT emergencies
