Location: Noida
Working Days: 6 Days a Week
Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Salary: ₹35,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)
Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and passionate Fashion Designer to develop innovative apparel collections that align with current fashion trends and customer preferences. The ideal candidate should have strong design skills, a keen eye for color, fabric, silhouettes, and prints, and experience working with garment manufacturers or export houses.
Key Responsibilities
- Research global fashion trends, color forecasts, and market insights.
- Create seasonal apparel collections, mood boards, and design concepts.
- Develop sketches, technical drawings, and detailed tech packs.
- Select fabrics, trims, prints, embellishments, and accessories.
- Coordinate with merchandising, sampling, and production teams to ensure design execution.
- Work closely with buyers to understand design requirements and product expectations.
- Review sample garments and recommend design improvements.
- Ensure all designs meet quality, fit, and commercial standards.
- Maintain design documentation and product development records.
- Stay updated with emerging fashion trends, fabrics, and industry innovations.
Required Skills
- Strong creative thinking and design aesthetics.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or similar design software.
- Good understanding of garment construction, fabric sourcing, and printing techniques.
- Knowledge of color combinations, silhouettes, and fashion forecasting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Fashion Designer or Creative Designer in the garment or apparel industry.
- Experience in garment export houses or fashion brands will be preferred.
