Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage the company's financial records, ensure accurate bookkeeping, handle statutory compliance, and support day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and experience working with accounting software. Accountants typically maintain financial records, prepare reports, manage receivables/payables, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and bookkeeping.
- Record sales, purchases, receipts, and payments accurately.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts.
- Generate invoices and follow up on customer payments.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in GST filing, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
- Monitor cash flow and expense tracking.
- Support payroll processing and salary accounting.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and management.
- Maintain proper documentation and financial records.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and taxation procedures.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance roles.
- Experience handling GST filing and financial reporting preferred.
