IT Business Analyst (Junior) | 0.6 –1 Year Experience

About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, analytical, and detail-oriented IT Business Analyst with 6 months to 1 year of experience. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who have worked on real IT projects and want to grow their career in Business Analysis.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring solutions align with business goals and are delivered efficiently. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and surveys.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and use cases.
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, and process flow diagrams.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and design teams to ensure accurate implementation.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain project documentation, wireframes, process maps, and data flow diagrams.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Track project progress, identify risks, and communicate updates proactively.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support timely project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months–1 year of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT company or IT-enabled services environment.
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and wireframes.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar BA/project management tools.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and querying.
- Exposure to Figma, Balsamiq, or Lucidchart.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to web or mobile application projects.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and integrations.
- Knowledge of Advanced Excel, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
- Agile/Scrum, CCBA, or CBAP certification is an advantage.
Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
