- Monitor and ensure quality of all civil construction activities as per approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Inspect civil works such as RCC, foundations, structural works, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, roads, and other construction activities.
- Prepare and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, checklists, and quality records.
- Conduct inspections of incoming construction materials and verify test certificates.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and clients for quality inspections and approvals.
- Ensure concrete works comply with approved mix designs and conduct/coordinate cube tests, slump tests, etc.
- Monitor laboratory and field testing of soil, aggregate, concrete, steel, and other materials.
- Identify Non-Conformities (NCRs) and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, test reports, and material records.
- Ensure construction activities comply with applicable IS codes, project specifications, drawings, and safety requirements.
- Conduct regular site quality audits and report quality issues to the Project Manager.
- Assist in preparing Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) reports.
- Ensure proper documentation and handover of quality records at project completion.
Qualification:
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 3–8 years in civil construction/industrial projects.
- Good knowledge of IS codes, QA/QC procedures, ITP, inspection methods, and construction materials.
- Good communication, documentation, and site coordination skills.
