Position: Visiting Faculty – History of Design
Location: Institute of Quality Education (IQE)
Timings: 7:15 AM to 9:15 AM (2 Hours)
Role Overview :
It’s basically an introduction to different art and culture forms. It talks about how buildings and interiors are made, and how art and design have changed over time. It also covers books, music, dance, theatre, and films, and how all these creative things are part of everyday life and have grown through history.
Key Responsibilities :

Teach subjects related to Art, Architecture, Interior Design, Fashion, Literature, Music, Theatre, Cinema, and Design History.

Conduct lectures, presentations, case discussions, and interactive classroom activities.

Guide students in assignments, presentations, and creative research work.

Explain historical styles, materials, design evolution, and cultural influences in design.

Encourage analytical and creative thinking among students.

Evaluate student performance through assignments, discussions, and presentations.

Maintain academic discipline and follow institutional teaching guidelines.
Required Skills :

Strong understanding of Design History, Art History, Architecture, Interior Design, and Cultural Studies

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to conduct engaging and interactive sessions

Creative teaching methodology with practical examples and case studies

Good academic and research orientation
Eligibility Criteria :
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Fine Arts, Fashion Design, or related field

Prior teaching or industry experience preferred

Candidates with practical exposure in creative/design industries will be preferred
