Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled BOM Management Engineer to manage and maintain Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM) and Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) for commercial vehicle programs. The candidate will be responsible for BOM creation, structuring, release management, change management, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate product data throughout the product development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and validate Engineering BOM (EBOM) and Manufacturing BOM (MBOM).
- Manage product structures, part numbers, configurations, and variants in PLM systems.
- Perform BOM analysis, comparison, and reconciliation activities.
- Ensure BOM accuracy and consistency across engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and service functions.
- Support Engineering Change Management (ECN/ECR) implementation and tracking.
- Coordinate with Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Quality teams for BOM updates.
- Monitor product releases and ensure timely implementation of engineering changes.
- Maintain product documentation and configuration management records.
- Perform impact analysis for design modifications and part substitutions.
- Support new product development and vehicle platform updates.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, processes, and product data management procedures.
- Generate BOM-related reports and metrics for project reviews.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹440,000.00 per year
