- Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers to ensure a reliable vendor base.
- Obtain quotations from multiple suppliers and prepare comparative statements for evaluation.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, freight charges, and contract terms to achieve the best commercial value.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives through effective supplier negotiations without compromising quality or delivery.
- Issue purchase orders and ensure timely processing in accordance with company policies.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any delays or supply issues.
- Coordinate with production, stores, quality, planning, and finance departments to understand procurement requirements.
