About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in Ahmedabad. This is a full-time, in-office position where you will be responsible for protecting systems, networks, and data from cyber threats while ensuring compliance with security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor networks and systems for security breaches or suspicious activity
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and manage firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems
- Investigate security incidents and provide timely resolution
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and data protection regulations
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to improve security posture
- Maintain documentation of security policies, procedures, and incidents
- Provide employee training on cybersecurity best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- 1 to 4 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security
- Strong understanding of network security concepts
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security
- Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM and monitoring systems
- Knowledge of common cyber threats such as phishing, malware, and ransomware
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell is a plus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or HIPAA
