Electrical Execution Engineer - Solar Projects
Job Summary:
Candidate is responsible for the implementation and execution of electrical systems in solar energy installations.
The ideal candidate will manage electrical installations, ensuring compliance with specifications, regulations,
and safety standards while delivering projects on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution:
Oversee the electrical installation and commissioning of solar power systems, including panels, inverters, transformers, and cabling.
Coordinate with project managers and other teams to plan and monitor execution timelines and milestones.
Technical Leadership:
Provide technical expertise on electrical designs and systems, ensuring all installations adhere to project specifications and electrical codes.
Lead troubleshooting efforts for electrical issues during construction and commissioning phases.
Quality Assurance:
Implement quality control procedures to monitor installation accuracy and compliance with design specifications.
Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency.
Health and Safety:
Enforce safety policies and practices on-site to minimize risk and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
Conduct safety audits and training sessions related to electrical systems and equipment.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain thorough documentation of electrical installation processes, including as-built drawings, inspection reports, and maintenance logs.
Prepare and present regular progress reports to management and stakeholders.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil, etc.) and contractors to ensure integrated project delivery.
Facilitate communication between various teams to track project progress and resolve issues effectively.
Problem Solving:
Identify and analyze problems related to electrical systems and develop solutions to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
Dip/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly in solar or renewable energy projects.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and relevant codes and standards
