Job Description - Interior Trim Lead Design Engineer
Location: Pimpri, Pune
Experience: 6–12 Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
Notice Period: 30–60 Days
Role Summary:
Responsible for leading the design and development of automotive Interior Trim systems across the complete product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Styling feasibility, concept design, detailed engineering
- Validation, prototype coordination, issue resolution
- Design of IP/Dashboard, Door Trims, Pillar Trims, Headliner, Carpet
- Coordination with OEMs, suppliers, and cross-functional teams Technical
Responsibilities:
- Prepare DFMEA, DFA, DFM, DFS
- Review CAE/FEA reports and implement improvements
- 3D/2D CAD modeling using Creo / CATIA V5/V6 - GD&T drawings and PLM/Teamcenter data management
Required Expertise:
- Interior trim materials (plastic, foam, fabric, leather)
- Manufacturing processes and ergonomics understanding
- Regulatory standards: FMVSS, ECE, AIS
Skills:
- Strong interior trim domain knowledge
- Problem-solving and communication skills
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
