Job Description: Senior Accountant
Location: Karkardooma, Delhi
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, taxation, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have 2–4 years of relevant experience with strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, banking operations, billing, government portals, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting activities, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and account reconciliation.
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other applicable returns) within statutory deadlines.
- Handle Income Tax-related work, including ITR preparation, filing, and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.
- Prepare invoices, billing records, and monitor accounts receivable and payable.
- Perform bank-related activities, including bank reconciliations, cheque processing, online transactions, and coordination with banks.
- Work on Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal activities, including registration, bid participation, order processing, and documentation.
- Maintain financial records and ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, auditors, and government authorities for statutory matters.
- Maintain accurate accounting records using accounting software such as Tally or ERP systems.
- Support management with financial analysis, MIS reports, and other accounting-related tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com or CA Inter will be an added advantage.
- 2–4 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong knowledge of GST filing, Income Tax (ITR), TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with the GeM (Government e-Marketplace) portal.
- Good understanding of banking procedures and financial documentation.
- Experience in billing, invoicing, and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Office, especially MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
