Good Experience in copyediting experience in the ePublishing or STM publishing industry.
Correct mechanical errors, inconsistencies, and infelicities in grammar, usage, syntax, and punctuation.
Ensure content adheres to publisher guidelines and style guides (e.g., Chicago Manual of Style, APA, and MLA).
Verify references, citations, tables, figures, and cross-references. Identify inconsistencies and raise editorial queries.
Collaborate with authors and publishers to meet the needs of the intended audience.
Work proficiently with MS Word, Track Changes, templates, and digital publishing tools.
Meet production deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
Excellent command of English grammar, syntax, punctuation, and editorial conventions.
Experience in handling scholarly or academic manuscripts.
Good understanding of the collation process and post-author review workflow.
Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to identify inconsistencies and resolve editorial issues independently.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting strict deadlines.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
