We are hiring a Electrical Designer-Autocad Plant3d for one of our reputed clients based in Bangalore.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical design drawings, layouts, schematics, and documentation for Oil & Gas and Chemical projects.
- Develop power distribution, lighting, grounding, cable routing, and equipment layouts.
- Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD), cable schedules, junction box layouts, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
- Create and maintain electrical design deliverables using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Plant 3D.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Civil, Instrumentation, and Process teams for interdisciplinary design integration.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), cable schedules, and material take-offs.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, NEC, IEEE, and project specifications.
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate engineering comments.
- Support procurement and site engineering teams during project execution.
Required Skills
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 5–8 years of experience in Electrical Design for Oil &Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, or EPC projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and electrical drafting.

- SLD Preparation
- JB Layouts
- Electrical Equipment Layouts
- BOM & MTO Preparation
- Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, IS, NEC standards.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel for site visits when required.
