Job Overview
UK International London Beauty School is looking for a skilled and passionate Makeup Trainer to join our Bangalore branch. The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of professional makeup techniques and a passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing aspiring beauty professionals.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct theory and practical training sessions for students.
- Teach basic to advanced professional makeup techniques.
- Train students in Bridal, HD, Airbrush, Party, Fashion, Editorial and Contemporary Makeup.
- Demonstrate proper skin preparation, product selection, application techniques and hygiene standards.
- Conduct live demonstrations and hands-on practical sessions.
- Evaluate students through practical assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Guide students in building professional makeup portfolios.
- Keep students updated with current makeup trends, techniques and industry practices.
- Maintain classroom discipline and professional training standards.
- Ensure proper maintenance and handling of makeup products, tools and training equipment.
- Participate in workshops, seminars, demonstrations and promotional activities.
- Mentor students and provide basic career guidance related to the beauty and makeup industry.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Diploma/Certification in Professional Makeup, Cosmetology or Beauty Therapy preferred.
- 2–5 years of professional makeup industry or training experience preferred.
- Strong expertise in bridal, HD, airbrush and party makeup.
- Previous experience in a beauty academy or training institute will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong practical demonstration and teaching skills.
- Passionate about training and mentoring students.
- Knowledge of professional makeup products and leading beauty brands.
