Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to lead end-to-end financial operations across multiple business locations. The ideal candidate will oversee financial reporting, treasury management, budgeting, statutory compliance, internal controls, and team leadership while partnering with business stakeholders to drive financial efficiency and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Lead month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Prepare and present MIS reports, financial statements, and management reports.
- Strengthen accounting processes, SOPs, and internal financial controls.
Treasury & Cash Flow Management
- Monitor daily cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity across locations.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and manage fund allocation.
- Oversee vendor payments, EMI payments, and statutory dues.
- Maintain banking relationships and coordinate loans, credit facilities, and other financial requirements.
- Monitor fund utilization and investment planning.
Receivables & Collections
- Monitor student fee collections and outstanding receivables.
- Implement effective collection strategies to improve recovery rates.
- Prevent revenue leakage through strong financial controls.
- Analyze collection performance and recommend improvements.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Prepare annual budgets and departmental financial plans.
- Track profitability, revenue, and operational costs.
- Develop rolling forecasts for revenue, cash flow, and expenses.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
Compliance & Audit
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, MCA, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Maintain financial records and statutory documentation.
Vendor & Procurement Finance
- Manage vendor payments, reconciliations, and settlements.
- Verify invoices and strengthen approval workflows.
- Support procurement through financial analysis and cost control.
Risk Management & Internal Controls
- Monitor financial transactions and strengthen internal controls.
- Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and governance standards.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor finance and accounts teams.
- Set performance goals and monitor team productivity.
- Promote a process-driven and collaborative finance culture.
- Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Experience in statutory compliance and audit coordination
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities
- High attention to detail and process orientation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
Qualifications
- MBA (Finance) / CA / ACCA / CMA / M.Com
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting leadership
Preferred Experience
- Experience managing finance operations across multiple locations
- Background in the Education, EdTech, or Service industry is an added advantage

Pay: ₹67,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
