Job Description – Accountancy Teacher Position: Accountancy Teacher
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Teach Accountancy to senior secondary students (Classes XI & XII) as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare annual, monthly, and daily lesson plans and ensure timely completion of the syllabus.
- Explain accounting concepts, principles, and practical applications effectively.
- Conduct regular tests, assignments, and assessments to monitor student progress.
- Evaluate answer sheets and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Prepare students for board examinations through revision plans, sample papers, and practice sessions.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and student performance reports.
- Use interactive and technology-based teaching methods to enhance learning.
- Identify and support students who require additional academic assistance.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and staff meetings.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school management to improve academic outcomes.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (B.Com./M.Com.).
- B.Ed. degree preferred/required as per school policy.
- Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.
- Prior teaching experience will be an added advantage.
Skills Required:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital teaching tools.
- Ability to motivate and mentor students.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
