Job Description – PRT Telugu Teacher
Location: The Suraka School
Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Telugu language lessons as per the curriculum and academic standards.
- Develop students' proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension in Telugu.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment materials.
- Conduct regular tests, evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Maintain student attendance, academic records, and progress reports.
- Use innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance learning outcomes.
- Encourage students to participate in language-related activities, competitions, and cultural programs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic progress and behavior.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, school events, and other academic activities.
- Ensure classroom discipline and adherence to school policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Telugu, Literature, Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
- Master's Degree in Telugu is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE/ICSE/State Board school.
- Experience in handling primary, middle, or secondary classes is preferred.
Skills Required
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to engage students through creative teaching methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital teaching tools.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
