Job Description: Field Mentor – Student Mobilization
Position Overview
We are seeking a high-energy, community-driven Field Mentor for Student Mobilization to spearhead recruitment and enrollment for our Free Two-Wheeler Service Technician Course.
In this role, your primary mission is to identify, engage, and enroll eligible youth from your designated catchment areas (local communities, villages, and neighborhoods). You will act as the bridge between underprivileged or unemployed youth and a life-changing career opportunity, promoting a fully sponsored program that includes free training, free food and accommodation, and a government-recognized NSDC certification.
Key Responsibilities
Field Mobilization & Recruitment: Conduct door-to-door visits, community meetings, and village-level awareness campaigns to identify youth interested in automotive mechanics.
Catchment Area Mapping: Map out local youth hubs, community centers, weekly markets, and technical high schools to build a steady pipeline of prospective candidates.
Counseling & Mentorship: Guide interested candidates and their parents, clearly explaining the long-term career benefits of the Two-Wheeler Technician course, the value of NSDC certification, and the safety/comfort of our free residential facilities.
Relationship Building: Network with local community leaders, village heads (Sarpanchs), NGOs, and local youth clubs to earn trust and gain support for mobilization drives.
Documentation & Enrollment: Handhold selected students through the entire admission process, helping them gather required documents (Aadhaar card, education certificates, etc.) for NSDC compliance.
Retention Tracking: Maintain regular touchpoints with enrolled students during their initial days at the center to ensure they settle into the hostel environment smoothly.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: High School Diploma / Graduate or Social Work background (MSW/BSW) is a plus. Knowledge of the automotive industry is an advantage but not required.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in field mobilization, rural marketing, NGO community work, or skill development schemes (like DDU-GKY, PMKVY). Freshers with strong communication skills and a passion for social impact are welcome to apply.
Local Language Fluency: Must be highly fluent in the local regional language of the catchment area.
Mobility: Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license and a personal vehicle for extensive field travel.
Soft Skills: Strong empathy, persuasive communication skills, and the ability to connect easily with rural and semi-urban youth/parents.
