Design & Drafting
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and construction details.
- Convert conceptual designs from architects into technical drawings.
- Develop working drawings suitable for approvals, tendering, and construction.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, building codes, and standards.
BIM/CAD Management
- Create and maintain drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM tools.
- Manage drawing revisions, updates, and document control procedures.
- Maintain drawing databases and project files.
Coordination
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and contractors.
- Resolve clashes and inconsistencies between architectural and engineering drawings.
- Participate in design coordination meetings.
Quality Control
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
- Check dimensions, levels, material specifications, and construction details before issue.
- Ensure all issued drawings are properly documented and approved.
Site Support
- Provide technical clarification to site teams during construction.
- Incorporate site changes and prepare as-built drawings when required.
- Assist in resolving drawing-related issues encountered during construction.
Team Leadership
- Guide and mentor junior draftsmen and CAD technicians.
- Allocate drafting tasks and monitor productivity.
- Review and approve work prepared by junior team members before submission.
Project Documentation
- Prepare drawing packages for client submissions, authority approvals, and tenders.
- Coordinate drawing issuance schedules to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain records of revisions, transmittals, and drawing registers.
Typical Skills Expected
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Strong understanding of architectural detailing and construction methods.
- Knowledge of local building regulations and standards.
- Ability to read and coordinate structural and MEP drawings.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and team coordination skills.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
