Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Executive
Role Overview
The Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Executive will be responsible for managing customer invoicing, collections, vendor payments, account reconciliations, and ensuring accurate financial records. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders to maintain healthy cash flow and smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Generate and issue sales invoices in the ERP system.
- Track outstanding receivables and ensure timely follow-up with customers for payments.
- Perform customer account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor credit limits and payment terms as per company policies.
- Coordinate with Sales and Operations teams to ensure billing accuracy.
- Prepare weekly and monthly receivables aging reports.
- Handle credit notes, and customer account adjustments.
- Assist in statutory compliance related to receivables (GST, etc.).
- Escalate overdue accounts to management and support recovery efforts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer transaction records.
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Verify, process, and record vendor invoices accurately and on time.
- Ensure timely payment to vendors as per agreed payment terms.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice/payment discrepancies.
- Maintain vendor master data and supporting documentation.
- Monitor advances paid to vendors and ensure timely adjustment.
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance related to vendor payments.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain proper records of all payable transactions and supporting documents.
Inventory Verification & Control
- Perform periodic physical inventory verification (weekly, monthly) and reconcile physical stock with ERP records.
- Investigate inventory variances and coordinate with Warehouse, Operations, and Procurement teams for timely resolution.
- Ensure all inventory transactions, including Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), stock transfers, sales returns, purchase returns, and adjustments, are accurately recorded in the ERP system.
- Verify stock movement documentation and ensure proper authorization for inventory adjustments.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely GRN creation and inventory updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com/M.Com).
- 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Finance, or Accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Accounting software.
- Good communication and negotiation skills for customer and vendor interactions.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
