Job Description
We are a reputed super speciality hospital in Tirupur seeking a Physician Assistant to support doctors in patient care and clinical services. The role involves assisting consultants during OPD, wards, ICU, and procedures, ensuring smooth coordination of patient management.

- Obtain and document patient medical histories.
Hospital and Inpatient Duties
- Conduct daily patient rounds.
- Admit and discharge patients.
- Manage post-procedure and post-operative cardiac patients.
- Respond to cardiovascular emergencies.
- Coordinate care with nurses, pharmacists, and other specialists.
Procedures (depending on training and employer)
- Perform arterial and venous line placement.
- Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Assist in electrophysiology and interventional cardiology procedures.
- Conduct stress testing and other cardiovascular assessments.
- Remove vascular sheaths and manage access sites.
Patient Education
- Counsel patients on lifestyle modifications, including diet, exercise, smoking cessation, and medication adherence.
- Explain diagnoses, procedures, and treatment options.
- Provide follow-up care and chronic disease management.
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations.
- Assess patients with cardiovascular symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, or edema.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including:
- Electrocardiograms (ECGs/EKGs)
- Echocardiograms
- Stress tests
- Laboratory studies
- Cardiac imaging studies
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists.
- Prescribe medications where authorized by law.
- Monitor patients with conditions such as:
- Coronary Artery Disease
- Heart Failure
- Atrial Fibrillation
- Hypertension
- Peripheral Artery Disease
Qualifications
- B.Sc / Physician Assistant (recognized university).
- Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
- Good clinical knowledge, communication, and patient care skills.
