Job Summary:
We are seeking a self-driven Business Development Manager to expand our footprint in the manufacturing sector. You will identify new opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth through strategic market development.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth: Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in manufacturing/industrial segments
Networking & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong networks with OEMs, distributors, and key decision-makers; represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
Market Research & Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth areas and inform sales strategy
Client Acquisition: Generate leads, deliver compelling presentations, and negotiate contracts to convert prospects into long-term partners
Account Management: Nurture existing accounts, ensure client satisfaction, and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities
Problem Solving & Decision Making: Address client challenges with technical and commercial solutions; make data-backed decisions to meet targets
Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, production, and product teams to align offerings with market demand
Reporting: Maintain ERP, track pipeline, and report forecasts and performance to senior management
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field. MBA preferred
5–7 years proven B2B business development experience in manufacturing/industrial sector
Strong networking and communication skills with ability to influence C-level stakeholders
Demonstrated expertise in market research & analysis
Self-driven with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets
Excellent problem solving and decision making abilities
Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events
Proficiency in CRM tools ERP similar, and MS Office
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
