This is a full-time, on-site position for a Fashion Design Faculty at WCCD’s referred campus. The individual in this role will be responsible for creating and delivering curriculum, mentoring students, and fostering a creative learning environment. Day-to-day tasks include conducting lectures, industry-oriented projects, practical demonstrations, and grading assignments, while staying informed about current trends in the fashion industry to update course content and teaching methodologies.
Expertise: Strong skills in fashion Illustration, Fabric Painting and Embroidery, Garment Construction, Pattern Making, drafting, draping, grading, dart manipulation, surface ornamentation, fashion forecasting, sampling, textile science etc.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum & Teaching: Develop and deliver lesson plans covering fashion illustration, pattern making, draping, and sewing techniques.
Mentorship: Guide students on projects, portfolio development, and career planning, offering constructive feedback on creative work.
Industry Trends: Integrate current market trends, sustainable practices, and technologies into the curriculum.
Event Management: Organize fashion shows, exhibitions, workshops, and industry visits.
Administration: Participate in department meetings, student evaluations, admissions, and academic administration.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
