Prismforce – Job Description
We are building a full-scale product and need a senior FE engineer to own the front-end completely — technical decisions, feature development, code quality, and delivery. You will be the primary FE owner, responsible for how the product looks, works, and ships.
This is a hands-on role. You will write code, review code, and be accountable for what goes live.
-
Define and drive front-end architecture decisions: component patterns, data fetching strategy, state management, and routing.
-
Set and enforce code quality standards across the FE codebase through your own work and through reviews.
-
Make pragmatic technical decisions that balance quality with delivery pace.
-
Build product features end-to-end — from requirement to production.
-
Implement complex UI elements (data grids, dashboards, date pickers, multi-step flows) evaluating build vs. adopt case by case.
-
Write typed, testable, readable code — not just code that works.
-
Mentor junior engineers — assign tasks, review their work, and help them grow through day-to-day collaboration.
-
Structure components and the DOM so QA can build reliable E2E test suites without friction.
-
Own deployments — manage build config, environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
-
Monitor front-end health post-launch using error tracking and performance tooling.
We use the following. Strong fundamentals matter more than exact library experience.
-
Next.js 14+ (App Router), React 18+, TypeScript
-
Tailwind CSS with CSS Variables for theming and multi-brand support
-
Redux Toolkit / RTK Query for state and data fetching
-
next-intl or next-i18next for multi-language and RTL support
-
Sentry / Datadog for monitoring; Cypress / Playwright for E2E testing
-
7–10 years of professional FE experience, with 2+ years in React/Next.js at a senior level.
-
Experience owning FE architecture — not just working inside one.
-
Strong TypeScript and state management fundamentals.
-
Comfortable making independent technical decisions and owning outcomes.
-
Experience with deployment pipelines and taking code to production.
-
Track record of meaningful code reviews that improve team output.
-
Exposure to Design Systems or Component Library work.
-
Familiarity with accessibility (WCAG 2.1) and i18n/RTL patterns.
-
Exposure to Angular Framework.
-
Experience working on a product at scale — multi-language, multi-timezone, or multi-tenant.
This is a hands-on senior IC role with light team leadership responsibility. It is not a pure architect or management position.
