Job Details: Desktop Support Engineer (On-Site Support)
Salary Range: Up to ₹20,000 per month
Qualification: Degree / Diploma / ITI
Experience: 6 Months – 3 Years
Work Schedule: Day Shift & 6 Days Working
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Sholinganallur, Chennai
Skills Needed:
- Windows OS Installation and Troubleshooting
- Desktop & Laptop Hardware Troubleshooting
- Opening desktops and replacing hardware components
- Printer Installation and Troubleshooting
- Basic Networking Knowledge
- Software Installation and Configuration
- Good Communication and Problem-Solving Skills
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site technical support for hardware, software, and basic networking issues.
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and applications.
- Diagnose hardware issues and replace faulty components when required.
- Install and configure printers and resolve printing-related issues.
- Assist users with day-to-day IT-related problems.
- Perform system maintenance, software updates, and basic security checks.
- Maintain records of IT assets and support activities.
- Coordinate with the internal IT team for unresolved technical issues.
Requirements:
- 6 Months – 3 Years of experience in Desktop Support / IT Support.
- Fresh candidates with relevant hands-on training may also be considered.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
