Assistant Manager – Human ResourcesPosition Summary
Positron Energy Limited is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Manager – HR to support and drive Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Employee Relations, Compliance, and Administration functions across Head Office and project locations. The role requires a proactive HR professional with strong recruitment expertise and the ability to manage end-to-end HR processes in a fast-paced, multi-location environment. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the Oil & Gas, CGD, EPC, or Infrastructure sectors.
Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for technical, engineering, project, site, corporate, and managerial positions.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies through job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, recruitment consultants, social media, and campus hiring initiatives.
- Screen applications, conduct preliminary interviews, coordinate technical assessments, and facilitate hiring decisions.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future manpower requirements.
- Negotiate compensation packages, prepare offer letters, and manage onboarding processes.
- Track recruitment metrics including TAT, source effectiveness, cost per hire, and hiring closure rates.
- Coordinate with department heads to understand workforce planning and recruitment needs.
- Enhance employer branding initiatives and maintain candidate engagement throughout the hiring process.
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management
- Support employee onboarding, induction, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and separation processes.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files.
- Monitor attendance, leave management, and employee data management systems.
- Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
Policy Implementation & Compliance
- Implement HR policies, procedures, and organizational guidelines across all locations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws.
- Conduct periodic reviews and audits of HR records and processes.
- Support disciplinary actions and grievance management in line with company policies.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws including EPF, ESIC, CLRA, Shops & Establishment Act, and other applicable regulations.
- Maintain statutory records, registers, licenses, and documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants and authorities for compliance-related matters.
- Assist in labor inspections, audits, and statutory filings.
Employee Relations & Discipline Management
- Address employee concerns and support grievance resolution.
- Promote workplace discipline, professionalism, and adherence to company policies.
- Assist in conducting investigations and maintaining disciplinary records.
- Support managers in handling employee relations matters effectively.
Administration & Coordination
- Coordinate HR and administrative activities across Head Office and project locations.
- Support travel, accommodation, and employee welfare initiatives as required.
- Assist in vendor coordination and administrative support functions.
- Conduct site visits for recruitment drives, employee interactions, and compliance reviews.
Qualifications
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources, MSW (HR), or equivalent qualification.
- 5–8 years of experience in HR, with significant exposure to Talent Acquisition and HR Operations.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, CGD, EPC, Infrastructure, Engineering, or Manufacturing sectors preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong expertise in Talent Acquisition and Recruitment.
- Sound knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, HRMS, and recruitment platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple positions and recruitment projects simultaneously.
Preference
- Candidates with experience in Oil & Gas, CGD, EPC, or Infrastructure sectors will be preferred.
- Experience handling large-scale recruitment and multi-location workforce management will be an added advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
