We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Forensic Audit Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in conducting forensic audits, fraud investigations, data analysis, and compliance reviews. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify financial irregularities while supporting senior team members in investigation assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting forensic audits and fraud investigations across various business functions.
- Analyze financial statements, accounting records, bank statements, and supporting documents to identify discrepancies or suspicious transactions.
- Perform data analysis using MS Excel and other analytical tools to detect anomalies and fraud indicators.
- Support the collection, review, and preservation of documentary evidence.
- Prepare working papers, investigation reports, and audit documentation.
- Conduct background checks, transaction testing, and document verification.
- Assist in internal investigations related to fraud, employee misconduct, financial irregularities, and regulatory non-compliance.
- Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders for information gathering and clarification.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Stay updated with emerging fraud risks, forensic investigation techniques, and relevant laws.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CA/CA Inter, CMA Inter, CS, Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or relevant certifications will be an added advantage, Certification course in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection audit by ICAI.
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in forensic audit, internal audit, statutory audit, risk advisory, or fraud investigation.
- Good understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and auditing standards.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of data analytics tools (Power BI, IDEA, ACL, SQL, or similar) will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and report-writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Basic understanding of forensic accounting and fraud risk assessment.
- Ability to analyze large volumes of financial and transactional data.
