We are looking for a proactive and fashion-savvy Merchandiser who will be responsible for onboarding designer brands, managing ongoing designer relationships, and driving merchandising excellence to maximize sales and brand performance.
Key Responsibilities1. Designer Acquisition & Onboarding
- Identify, research, and approach potential designer brands aligned with the store's positioning.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of emerging and established fashion designers.
- Conduct brand evaluations based on product quality, market positioning, pricing, and commercial viability.
- Present partnership opportunities and negotiate commercial terms.
- Coordinate onboarding documentation, agreements, pricing structures, and inventory planning.
- Ensure smooth integration of new designers into the platform and store operations.
2. Designer Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for onboarded designers.
- Maintain regular communication regarding sales performance, inventory status, marketing opportunities, and business growth.
- Develop long-term partnerships and identify opportunities for brand expansion.
- Resolve operational issues and ensure designer satisfaction.
- Conduct periodic business reviews with designers.
3. Merchandising & Assortment Planning
- Curate seasonal collections and product assortments based on customer demand, market trends, and sales data.
- Collaborate with designers to optimize product mix, pricing, and inventory allocation.
- Ensure balanced assortment across categories, price points, and target customer segments.
- Plan launches, exclusive collections, and seasonal drops.
4. Inventory & Performance Management
- Monitor sell-through rates, stock levels, and inventory turnover.
- Recommend replenishment, markdown, and liquidation strategies.
- Analyze product performance and provide actionable insights to designers.
- Forecast inventory requirements and coordinate stock planning.
5. Trend & Market Analysis
- Stay updated on fashion trends, consumer behavior, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Translate trend insights into merchandising recommendations.
- Identify emerging designers and category opportunities.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Buying, Marketing, E-commerce, Retail Operations, and Visual Merchandising teams.
- Coordinate product launches, campaigns, photoshoots, and promotional activities.
- Support content and storytelling initiatives to enhance designer visibility.
7. Merchandising Services (Post-Onboarding)
- Provide assortment optimization and seasonal buying recommendations.
- Guide designers on pricing strategies and collection planning.
- Share sales analytics and customer insights.
- Recommend inventory management and replenishment plans.
- Advise on market trends, category expansion, and product development opportunities.
- Support designers in maximizing visibility through merchandising, promotions, and marketing collaborations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Management, Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 2–5+ years of experience in fashion merchandising, buying, designer relations, or brand partnerships.
- Strong understanding of fashion retail, luxury, contemporary, and designer markets.
- Experience working with designer brands or multi-brand retail environments preferred.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset.
- Proficiency in Excel, merchandising tools, and retail reporting systems.

Pay: ₹18,422.00 - ₹36,865.00 per month
