1. Pre-Route Preparation & Loading
- Vehicle Inspection: Performing daily safety checks on the delivery truck (oil, tires, lights, brakes) and reporting any issues.
- Manifest Review: Checking the daily delivery schedule, planning the most efficient route, and ensuring all invoices/delivery notes match the load.
- Strategic Loading: Appliances must be secured with straps to prevent damage, and loaded in reverse order of the route (first delivery sits closest to the doors).
- 2. Multi-Drop Deliveries & Customer Service
- On-Time Multi-Drops: Navigating efficiently to complete anywhere.
- Room of Choice Delivery: Unlike standard couriers who drop at the doorstep, showroom drivers usually carry appliances directly into the customer’s home, up stairs, or into specific rooms.
- Professionalism: Serving as the "face of the company." Providing friendly, helpful customer service and handling complaints professionally.
- 3. Admin, Collections & Returns
- Proof of Delivery (POD): Obtaining signatures via a mobile device or physical paperwork.
- Old Appliance Disposal: Loading and transporting customers' old appliances back to the showroom or warehouse .
- Handling Returns: Safely bringing back refused or damaged stock and documenting the reasons.
Key Requirements & Skills
- Physical Fitness: This is a physically demanding role. You must be comfortable lifting heavy white goods daily, often using sack trucks, stair climbers, and lifting straps.
- Excellent Driving Record: A clean, valid driving license appropriate for the vehicle size.
- Patience & Problem Solving: Dealing with tight parking spaces, narrow hallways, and tricky staircases without scratching walls or damaging the product.
Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
