Job Purpose
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Vice President of Sales & Marketing with extensive leadership experience in the manufacturing and fabrication industry. The ideal candidate will spearhead our global/national market expansion strategies, drive revenue growth, build high-performing sales teams, and strengthen our market positioning in heavy/light fabrication, industrial manufacturing, and B2B sectors.
Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Planning & Revenue Growth
- Business Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive short- and long-term sales and marketing strategies to achieve aggressive revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
- P&L Ownership: Manage the sales and marketing departmental budgets, ensuring high return on investment (ROI) across all promotional and operational activities.
- Market Expansion: Identify new business verticals, geographic regions, and emerging market segments within the manufacturing and fabrication sectors.
2. Sales Leadership & Key Account Management
- Team Leadership: Mentor, lead, and scale regional sales heads, business development managers, and field teams to maximize productivity and target achievement.
- Strategic Partnerships: Forge and nurture high-value relationships with key enterprise clients, OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), EPC contractors, and industry stakeholders.
- Tendering & Bidding: Oversee the estimation, pricing strategy, and submission process for large-scale industrial tenders, complex fabrication projects, and custom manufacturing contracts.
3. Marketing & Brand Positioning
- Brand Strategy: Position the company as an industry leader in precision manufacturing and fabrication through strategic branding, thought leadership, and digital presence.
- Lead Generation: Implement robust B2B lead generation campaigns, industry trade show participations, and targeted digital marketing initiatives.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market demands to adapt product offerings and value propositions accordingly.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Operations Alignment: Coordinate closely with plant heads, production planning, and engineering/estimating teams to ensure timely delivery of custom fabricated products and alignment with client specifications.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure that all sales commitments align with manufacturing capacities, safety standards, and quality compliances.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. An MBA in Marketing, Strategy, or General Management is strongly preferred.
- Experience: 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in B2B sales and marketing, with at least 12–15 years specifically within the manufacturing and heavy/custom fabrication industry.
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of fabrication processes (welding, machining, structural steel, sheet metal, etc.), manufacturing lead times, and industrial procurement cycles.
- Core Competencies:
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and executive-level closing skills.
- Proven track record of scaling revenue in a manufacturing/fabrication enterprise.
- Strong financial acumen with expertise in project pricing, margin analysis, and P&L management.
- Excellent cross-cultural communication and presentation skills.
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
