Job Purpose:
To ensure smooth administration and plant facility management by maintaining housekeeping standards, managing attendance & labour records, ensuring infrastructure upkeep, and providing operational support to HR, compliance, canteen, security and overall administrative functions within the factory premises.
Key Responsibilities1. Plant Facility & Housekeeping Management
· Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across plant premises as per set standards.
· Supervise housekeeping team, allocate tasks, evaluate work quality & ensure daily upkeep.
· Monitor utilities like electricity, water supply, lighting, safety equipment & address breakdowns.
· Coordinate repair/maintenance activities and ensure timely resolution of facility issues.
2. Attendance, Labour & Compliance Administration
· Maintain daily attendance records of workers/employees in People HR software.
· Manage leave registers, labour security registers & ensure daily physical verification.
· Maintain compliance records as per company and statutory standards including register updates.
· Support audits with admin documentation, facility inspection and compliance submissions.
3. HR Coordination & Workforce Support
· Assist in labour hiring & manpower planning in coordination with HR and labour vendors.
· Collect employee documents, support ID card generation & maintain database records.
· Administer uniform & PPE distribution and ensure proper usage discipline by workforce.
· Support payroll by sharing attendance, overtime 4. Canteen, Transport & Admin Asset Management
· Oversee canteen operations including food quality, quantity, hygiene and consumption tracking.
· Manage staff transport arrangement, vehicle deployment, servicing and document checks.
· Maintain asset tracking including office equipment, tools and PPE inventory.
· Handle stationary stock, maintain minimum inventory level and process timely procurement.
5. Vendor Management
· Coordinate with service providers – housekeeping, canteen, facility maintenance & labour supply.
· Review vendor performance monthly and share improvement/cost optimization recommendations.
Additional Responsibilities
· Draft/modify plant admin policies and SOPs as per operational requirements.
· Assist management in planning improvements for facility layout, utilities & safety systems.
· Handle emergency situations, breakdowns & ensure uninterrupted plant functioning.
