We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Inspector cum Material Follow-up Executive for our manufacturing unit. This is a dual-responsibility role where the candidate will ensure all raw materials, in-process jobs, and finished components meet strict dimensional accuracies. Simultaneously, they will be responsible for chasing vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth material movement.
1. Quality Control & Inspection (QC)
- Inward & Final Inspection: Conduct strict inspection of incoming raw materials, in-process machined components, and finished goods using precision instruments (Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, etc.).
- Drawing Reading: Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings, including tolerances and GD&T symbols.
- Rejection Management: Identify defects, separate non-conforming materials immediately, maintain the rejection log, and raise Rejection Notes/NCRs.
- Vendor Follow-up: Coordinate daily with raw material suppliers, laser cutting/machining vendors, and special process subcontractors (heat treatment, plating, powder coating) to expedite pending jobs.
