- Conduct thorough assessments of patients with neurological disorders, such as stroke, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson's disease.
- Evaluate patients' physical and functional abilities, identifying impairments and limitations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to address motor control, balance, coordination, and other neurological impairments.
- Provide hands-on physiotherapy interventions to improve muscle strength, joint flexibility, and overall functional independence.
- Utilize neurodevelopmental techniques, task-specific training, and other specialized approaches.
- Conduct gait assessments and design gait training programs to improve walking patterns and mobility.
- Utilize assistive devices and technology to enhance mobility.
- Stay informed about the latest research, advancements, and best practices in neurorehabilitation.
- Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy.
- Specialization or additional training in Neurological Physiotherapy.
- State licensure or registration as a physiotherapist.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in neurorehabilitation.
