Position: PPC Engineer
Department: Production Planning & Control (PPC)
Reporting To: Plant Head / General Manager – Production
Production Planning & Control
- Prepare and maintain production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules.
- Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Sales departments for smooth workflow.
- Plan material requirements and ensure availability to avoid production delays.
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock management.
- Track production schedules, machine capacity, and manpower utilization.
- Ensure adherence to customer delivery commitments.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks to improve efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in planning and scheduling processes.
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
- Send RFQs (Request for Quotations) to vendors and follow up for timely responses.
- Receive and evaluate competitive price quotations from suppliers.
- Procure production-related materials such as tube fittings, valves, and other required components.
- Review and understand technical specifications before procurement.
- Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and supporting documentation for all purchasing decisions.
- Develop and maintain vendor databases and vendor performance records.
- Set up and onboard new vendors as per company requirements.
- Maintain updated records of invoices, purchase orders, and supplier contracts.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure uninterrupted material availability for production.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
