- Prepare the Operation Theatre before each surgery by ensuring all equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and functioning.
- Assist the surgeon, anesthetist, and OT team during surgical procedures.
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques and infection control practices.
- Perform surgical hand scrub, gowning, and gloving procedures.
- Count surgical instruments, sponges, needles, and other items before, during, and after surgery.
- Prepare and position patients safely for surgery.
- Monitor the patient's condition and assist the anesthesia team when required.
- Ensure proper handling, sterilization, and storage of surgical instruments.
- Maintain accurate OT records, documentation, and surgical checklists.
- Handle specimens correctly and send them to the laboratory as per protocol.
- Ensure proper disposal of biomedical waste according to hospital guidelines.
- Check the functionality of OT equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Assist in emergency and trauma surgeries whenever required.
- Coordinate with CSSD, wards, ICU, and other departments for smooth patient care.
- Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical nursing standards.
- Comply with NABH policies, hospital protocols, and quality standards.
- Participate in OT audits, training programs, and continuous quality improvement activities.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Nursing Superintendent, OT In-charge, or Hospital
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
