Position: Drone Technician

Eligibility
- Diploma or B.Tech in:
- Electronics Engineering
- Aerospace Engineering
- Freshers with strong practical knowledge can apply.
- Candidates with 6 months or more experience in the drone industry will be preferred.
Job Responsibilities
- Assemble, test, and maintain UAV/Drone systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair drone electronics, motors, ESCs, flight controllers, and sensors.
- Perform drone calibration, firmware updates, and system configuration.
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections.
- Integrate GPS, telemetry, cameras, and communication modules.
- Assist in drone flight testing and performance evaluation.
- Diagnose hardware and software issues.
- Prepare technical documentation and maintenance reports.
- Follow DGCA safety guidelines and company SOPs during operations.
- Support R&D activities for new drone technologies and products.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of electronics and embedded systems.
- Knowledge of BLDC motors, ESCs, LiPo batteries, and power distribution.
- Familiarity with Pixhawk, ArduPilot, PX4, or similar flight controllers.
- Basic knowledge of GPS, IMU, telemetry, and RC communication.
- Experience with soldering, PCB troubleshooting, and electronic testing tools.
- Basic knowledge of Arduino, ESP32, STM32, or other microcontrollers is an advantage.
- Ability to diagnose and repair drone hardware.
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Mission Planner or QGroundControl.
- Knowledge of UAV regulations and safety practices.
- Hands-on experience with drone assembly and field operations.
- Familiarity with CAD software or 3D printing is a plus.
Additional Job Responsibilities
- Train Diploma and B.Tech students on Drone Technology.
- Teach drone fundamentals, UAV architecture, and flight principles.
- Conduct practical sessions on drone assembly, wiring, and maintenance.
- Train students on flight controllers (Pixhawk/ArduPilot/PX4), calibration, and Mission Planner.
- Deliver programming sessions using Arduino, ESP32, STM32, and Python for drone applications.
- Guide students in sensor interfacing (GPS, IMU, Compass, Telemetry, LiDAR, etc.).
- Mentor students in building real-world drone projects.
- Prepare practical assignments, demonstrations, and technical documentation.
- Assist students in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Stay updated with the latest drone technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Drone Technology and UAV fundamentals.
- Good programming skills in C/C++ (Arduino), ESP32, STM32, and basic Python.
- Experience with Pixhawk, ArduPilot, PX4, Mission Planner, and QGroundControl.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to students.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring.
Experience
- Freshers with practical drone projects are welcome.
- 6 months to 2 years of drone industry experience preferred.
