Role Summary
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for generating sales leads, engaging with potential customers over phone and email, understanding client needs, and promoting our suite of IT SaaS products. You will be a key contributor to expanding our customer base and generating revenue through effective outbound sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls and follow-ups to potential clients to introduce and pitch Protegk IT’s SaaS products.
- Understand customer needs and present product features and benefits that align with those needs.
- Schedule product demos and follow up with prospects to support conversion.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to answer queries confidently.
- Record detailed call outcomes and customer data in the CRM system.
- Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to improve scripts, strategies, and conversion rates.
- Meet or exceed monthly telesales targets and KPIs.
- Provide feedback from prospects to help refine product positioning and sales approaches.
- Handle customer objections professionally and work toward close.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Experience: 1–3 years of telesales or B2B sales experience, preferably in IT products, SaaS, or technology solutions.
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities.
- Goal-oriented with a positive attitude and resilience.
- Comfortable working with CRM tools and MS Office.
- Ability to manage time effectively and multitask.
- Basic understanding of IT products and SaaS business model is an added advantage.
Performance Metrics
- Number of outbound calls made per day
- Number of qualified sales leads generated
- Conversion rate from lead to demo booked
- Sales revenue or deals closed (if applicable)
- CRM data accuracy and timely updates
